“Reproductive Justice is the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and stable communities.”

From "The State of Black Women and Reproductive Justice- In Our Own Voices" June, 2017

ROOTT is a Black Women-led reproductive and birthing justice organization dedicated to collectively restoring our well-being through self determination, collaboration, and resources to meet the needs of families within communities.

Our leadership is comprised of an intersection of women of color who represent diverse personal and professional backgrounds. From Public Health, to Policy and academia, our board and advisory council at the ROOTT shares a common vision and goal of addressing and eliminating the structural determinants of health in order to provide the true foundation for healthy communities.

Our team at ROOTT is made up of Nurse Practitioners, RN and LPN nurses, Behavioral Specialists, Holistic Nutritionalists, and Full Spectrum Perinatal Support Specialists dedicated to both Prenatal and Postpartum care.
